It’s funny how the man only did his research up to point, and then stopped, just using the Old Testament to support himself.

It’s also really sad that she doesn’t know enough about her religion to defend it.

If you guys are curious, these thing he mentions are no longer laws. They were ceremonial laws put into place for the ancient Hebrews. After the coming of Christ, those laws were abolished. There are laws and things that are restated in the New Testament that makes them laws active today. One of which is the sin of homosexual interaction.

Except that is in the Lutheran church, one of the few denominations that keeps the closest to the doctrine of the bible.

Given that there denominations other than Lutheran, many people do not agree with their interpretation regardless of how close it may or may not be to the doctrine of the Bible. As I’ve been given to understand what constitutes doctrine varies from denomination to denomination. This does not make one more or less objectively correct than the others.
